Artist Statement
Fear is a series that explores the physical changes that occur in the body when danger is present. When a fearful moment occurs, the body will go through several stages to help prepare for the unknown which lies ahead.
Fear is something that everyone experiences and can be viewed as either negligible or quite serious. The world is full of surprises, and often times those events can lead to fear and anxiety. These intense moments cause our body to react, rather quickly, to what is about to happen. From our heart rate rapidly increasing, to our stomachs feeling empty and weightless, our bodies are preparing to come face to face with and protect itself from any harm that might occur.
